Amaltas Baby Room

Designing for our client’s dream nursery wasn't just about choosing a cute theme and pouring over paint colors. We needed to spend just as much time making sure it's a safe space for the baby. We have taken water-based paint, one that contains low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or none at all to make a bacteria free environment. We have added yellow and teal to the color palette and came up with this eclectic room. An art collage with prints was created above the changing table with the help of customized wallpaper. The subtle design of the drop lights made the nightstand visually interesting. To make the room more pleasant place to spend time with their baby during the day, a rocking chair was added near the window so as to enjoy the outside view. Installation of decorative hooks and shelves was done on the walls to hang up clothes and for toys and to make the room feel less cluttered. A splash of colors on furniture upholstery helped brighten the space without overwhelming the senses. Specification:
